Engineer FRANK AYUBA
Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation,
NNPC 12 Osolo way,
Isolo Lagos.
Attn: Igor
Dear Sir,
I am engineer Frank Ayuba, A Director of the Contract award and
Review department with the Nigeria national Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC). I am contacting you on this business of transferring the sum
of 23,615,000.00 (twenty three million six hundred and fifteen
thousand united States dollars only) into a safe foreign account and
the need is very urgent.
I got your contact from the Nigeria Chambers of
Commerce and it is with business trust that made me to contact you
on this matter. I write to solicit for the transfer of this fund
into your account. This money was generated from an over invoiced
contract fund in my corporation (NNPC).
I am contacting you for your help and partnership for the following
two reasons.
1. As a civil servant I am not permitted to own
foreign account due to civil service code of conduct.
2. My present financial resources as a civil servant will not be
sufficient for me to handle the transfer alone successfully without
financial
assistance from a reliable foreign partner abroad.
20% of this sum will be for you as compensation for
using your bank account in transferring this money. 5% would be used
to re-reimburse the expenses made by both parties during the
processing of the transferring which include telephone bills,
traveling expenses and fees. While 75% is for me.
Please note that I will arrange to meet with you
immediately after the successful conclusion of the
transfer, the 75% share of mine will be used for investment
overseas. Your assistance and
cooperation is highly needed. I assure you that this
transaction is 100% risk free.
If you are interested I will require your banking
information as mentioned below.
1. Name to be used as beneficiary and beneficiary's
address.
2. your private and confidential telephone/fax
number(s).
3. Your bank name and address, your bank telephone and fax
number(s).
4. or if you are not comfortable with providing your
existing account, you can within the shortest possible
time, confidentially open an entire new (virgin) account for the
transaction. I would prefer this arrangement.
I hope to conclude this business within the next
fourteen (14) working days.
Looking forward to your anticipated and urgent
positive response via the above e-mail address.
Best Regards,
Engineer FRANK AYUBA.
Igor .
Director of Planning and Production.
Tampax (Russia).
635 Prospekt Dzerzhinskogo,
Archangelsk,
Russia.
Dear engineer Frank Ayuba,
Thanking you for your email and offer.
I am currently on business in Seattle, US, but I am due to return to Archangelsk
within the next 5 weeks. During my remaining time here there is a possibility that
I could open a new account here, at the Pacific Northwest bank, which is where my
current business account is held.
But first there is one small matter that requires negotiation;
I am a businessman, Mr Ayuba. In my business I look at profit margins, overheads,
pricing structures and turnover in terms of percentages, not figures.
20% for me compared to 75% for you does not seem like a good business for me to be in,
regardless of the ammounts involved.
The bottom line is, Mr Ayuba, if the 20% is non-negotiable then you will need to find
some other mug to help you, not me. If this figure were to increase somewhat then we
are talking business. The choice is yours, Frankie.
I await your reply.
Regards,
Igor .

Attn: Igor
I am on receipt of your mail and the contents are noted. I wouldn't
have replied this mail but courtesy demands that I should do so. I
wouldn't see the reason why I contracted you for a transaction of
this magnitude and you want to claim 75% of the total sum. I can
never in my life do such a business. The percentage we offered you is
reasonable enough. So I wouldn't know the part you want to play. You
are to give us your bank information and I will prefer an account
where there is no cent on it to avoid suspicion of any kind but if
you should say that you want 75% of the money, that means you are
greedy. I do not blame you because you are sitting thousands of miles
away and an opportunity of this nature came to meet you at your
doorstep so you have reasons to doubt the authenticity.
I know that you must do a business that you will profit at the end of
the day but once has to be reasonable and has conscience. Although
this transaction is not a do or die affair and I am not imposing it
on you.
My colleagues and I have deliberated before replying your mail and we
cannot go against our plans because you are involved. So let me know
if you are ready to continue with us or not. This is to enable us
look for someone else who will understand our predicament and assist
us.
Regards,
Engr. Frank Ayuba

Dear engineer Frank Ayuba,
Thanking you for the courtesy of a reply.
The wording of your email suggests that your command of the English language
is much more advanced than my own, but, it seems, you have not actually
understood correctly what I wrote.
I never suggested that I wanted to "claim 75% of the total sum.", I merely stated
that 20% for me compared to 75% for you is not good business for me to be in, and
that if my 20% was non-negotiable then I will be 90% not interested. As a result I
will probably only read and understand 10% of your reply. (like you have done.)
You may think I am greedy for wanting more, but this is not the case. Let me explain:
As an expert in my field, I currently earn 835,600 USD a year plus 25% bonus.
This supports me and my family very well. I have 7 properties around the world and
travel on business 30% of the year. I am very fortunate, as a Russian, to be in my
current position, as more than 40% of my country-folk live in poverty.
I have my own charity organization based in Archangelsk and we try to serve the
entire northern territories. 50% of my own income has been used to fund the organisation
over many years, but recently things have not been so good. Large ammounts of money
vanished from our accounts, along with certain key members of the organisation.
These people have been found, and dealt with in the traditional Russian manner (contract
killings), but the money is still missing and may never be found. This unfortunate
series of events has led to the near collapse of the organisation, which is now in
need of a large cash injection to get it back up and running, for the sake of the
thousands of homeless Russians that depend on us.
4,723,000 USD (20%) would be a help but is not nearly enough.
So you see, Frank, I will not profit from such a transaction and, at only 20%, neither
will the desperate people of my country, so where is your reasonability and conscience now?,
and how does your "predicament" of transferring money out of Nigeria even compare to that
of 60% of Russians?
Like I said before, Frankie, if the 30% is non-negotiable then I'm not interested. My
organisation needs real cash, not pocket change.
Regards,
Igor .

collegues and partners who are involved in this transaction to
discuss the contents of your last mail and we have come to the
conclusion that the percentage can only be raised to 25% for you.

Frank.
What is this? some kind of joke?? I have rung the number
you supplied and all I get is a sex chat line. I have tried
ringing 12 times today but only end up getting
an assortment of lewd women making disgusting and
un-christian suggestions about what they would like to do
with me and about perverse sex acts they are currently
performing on themselves. Your joke is not funny, Frank, no
matter which religion you pertain to.
I thought that maybe you got your number wrong so I tried
234-1-4717548, 234-1-4717549, 234-1-4717551, 234-1-4717552
and 234-1-4717553, all with the same result.
I also thought that maybe you were not very good with
numbers and had mixed up some of them, so I tried
234-1-7417550, 234-1-7471550, 234-1-7471505, 234-1-4717055
and several other combinations along the same theme, all to
no avail. The people who answered had never heard of a Frank
Ayuba. In desperation I got the number for the Chief of
police there in Lagos to ask for help in locating you, but
he was too busy dealing with fraud and deception cases to
talk to me.
Anyway, Frankie, putting your joking aside, I will
reluctantly accept your offer of 35%. Now we can "get this
show on the road", as they say in the west. I have supplied
my office telephone number and fax number. They connect to
my head office in Archangelsk. My personal secretary will
answer any calls (as long as she is not at the toilet; she
has a worrying bowel complaint and has to rush to the toilet
often) and she will quickly forward any messages or faxes to
me. I have to do it this way, Frank, because at the moment I
am jetting around North America finalising my business here
early before returning to Russia, and the communication
equipment in my personal jet will only connect to head
office, it's better that way; stops nuisance callers wanting
free samples, etc.
Maybe me and my six heavily armed body guards could call in
to Lagos on our return journey?, then we could meet face to
face, wouldn't that be better, Frank?
Now I have calmed down a bit I will go and have a game of
chess to relax my mind. Do you play chess, Frank?, or any
other kind of game that requires high levels of
intelligence? I bet you do, you seem like an extremely
clever individual, much like myself.
Best wishes,
Igor.
oh! I nearly forgot my contact numbers.

Dear Igor,
I recieved your mail. your mail sounded as if this transaction and my proposal to
you was a joke. if you know that you are not ready to assit then state so.
The number i gave to you is a correct number. 234 IS NIGERIA CODE. 1 is Lagos area
code and the order is my number. i don't know how you dialled whereever you said
you dialled.
I have being equally trying to call you but the line kept on ringing and there was
no reply.

< Is he angry or what? hehe...his usual average spelling and punctuation gets a little worse as if he's just stamping the message out in a fit of anger... - not that I should comment on other peoples spelling when my own is nearly as bad - I wish I could send an email with a hidden camera in it to catch the moment... ...hmmm, now there's a thought... I wonder if anyone is dumb enough to believe that a little picture of a camera in their email could be taking pictures of them... Dear Frank,
I AM BEING SERIOUS, but if the telephone system en-route to
Nigeria switches my connection to an incorrect destination
then thats not my fault.
I tried ringing my own office with the same result as you,
no reply. My secretary, Anastassia, must have decided to
miss work while I am away on business. She will lose her job
on my return to Russia, I cannot have unprofessionalism in
my office, even if she is my wife.
Thankyou for highlighting this for me, Frank.
Do you have another number I can contact you on?, maybe a
mobile phone?. A mobile phone would be better because it
uses a satellite system and does not have to utilise fixed
land lines that can go faulty.
You really should learn how to play chess, Frank. It will
enhance the sharpness of your mind, enable you to look at
all possibilities in any situation and help you make
accurate decisions in business, ultimately making you more
successful than you ever imagined. My impressive
1 million+ US dollars a year is all down to chess. Once this
deal is finalised I will teach you chess, Frank. Your whole
life will become much simpler; all important decisions will
be easy to make because your mind will be clear of the fog
that currently blocks your vision.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Igor.

Keep you hair on Frankie!! I don't read my emails EVERY day.
Anyway, I am led to believe that you only 'work' 2 days a
week, which means that your original deadline of 14 working
days which would have passed a week ago for any normal
person, is actually 5 weeks away; plenty of time to sort
this out.
I have a very close friend who works at a bank in Washington
and who sorts out all my personal finances. I have told him
about your offer and he has said it is viable. He has
already arranged a virgin account to be used for this
transaction and it is based in Washington.
Don't worry, Frank, he can be trusted not to tell anyone
about this.
He is called Sergei Rachmaninov and you can contact him on
1-202-406-6930 or 1-202-406-5031 he has all the banking
details you require.
If there are any problems with him the don't hesitate to
email me.
Any more thoughts about learning chess, Frank?. Maybe
draughts or dominos is more to your liking. If you'd like to
master chess I will teach you. Remember, Frank,
my offer is there if you ever decide to learn.
Bestest wishes,

My Sincerest apologies; I realised after your email arrived
